Hello! My name is Anna Broadhurst, and I am interning for the Air Pollution Control District's outreach and education program, KAIRE. I am really excited to learn about what can be done to help improve Louisville's air quality.
I have always been passionate about the environment, and I love the City of Louisville. Ever since I moved to Louisville six years ago, I have noticed and appreciated the general attitude of the people here. I recently attended a small sustainability forum that demonstrated to me the many groups and organizations concerned with the environment here in Louisville. I am thrilled to be working among them to learn about and find solutions for improvement in our relationship with our environment. Most of us have busy lives, but we want to do what we can to help. This is what appealed to me about KAIRE. They offer simple changes that individuals can realistically make, and as they say, "It All Adds Up to Cleaner Air."
